I've just dug up another embarrassing picture from the same trip, so I'll post both photos up soon. In the latest one Mum has an extra special 80's haircut.

talking of mums and their haircuts, we have a notorious photo of me my sister and my mum in front of stonehenge, about 1985. My mother had obviously seen fit to style her hair in an afro-style perm. But the family explanation is that she's standing on a ley-line.
Cant' remember visiting anywhere megalithic before that, but will have to think on.

possibility of turning this thread into a sad 'my first site' list?
