I'm better now :) Not felt the need to listen to that one for years. Still nothing wrong and a lot right with their '69-'71 stuff mind, imo. PF were followed by Roy Harper and Trigger live in concert. One of those golden 'etched in memory' days. Anyway, enough o/t musomusing... One Welsh mountain I n e e d to do and which has the same vibe as Cnicht when I see it is Arenig...the number of times I've been past and not up. It beckons.
I was born in '69. My first musical heroes - apparently - were Roxy... seems I used to bounce up and down in my cot to Virginia Plain... called Bryan 'The Talking Man'. Pretty pleased with that in retrospect since Roxy were very special. Guess you need to be a certain vintage to get the Floyd vibe?

Arenig Fawr or Fach? I prefer Fach, to be fair. Better looking little sister who never got to the ball.....

Thanks for making me feel decrepit. I saw Roxy in '71 while you were still abouncin. Arenigs: either. Cheap tart, me (ok, yes I did forget there were two) Dunno if you ever saw that great Beeb doc Painters At Their Peak about Augustus John and wild pals and their Arenig fixation. Mebe youtube? Btw, have been dusting of the White Peak OS and ascouring the TMA Derbyshire page today. Wolfscote: nice. Ta, thanks for that, will do. Would love to go back to Arbor Low but don't like company much. Wolfescote's much more my bag. Haven't been Biggin way for praps best part of fifteen years, only an hours drive. Eee, famblies
