Oh Cnicht and Borth....anyone who hasn't experienced these places, try if you can, you really must. Borth otherworldly, especially if experienced in solitude, Cnicht summit on a summer evening looking towards the sea..just bloody wonderful. Want memories to last you into old age? Get them at these two. I was alone with a transistor radio in the middle of Borth's stumps in when the Floyd's Wish You Were Here was premiered on Radio1. Just stood and listened. Will never forget. Haven't been back since '11. High time..
Was agreeing with you until you mentioned Pink Floyd :-)

I'm better now :) Not felt the need to listen to that one for years. Still nothing wrong and a lot right with their '69-'71 stuff mind, imo. PF were followed by Roy Harper and Trigger live in concert. One of those golden 'etched in memory' days. Anyway, enough o/t musomusing... One Welsh mountain I n e e d to do and which has the same vibe as Cnicht when I see it is Arenig...the number of times I've been past and not up. It beckons.

Oh...... I disagree,
Pink Floyd is the best that music can be, if there's nothing by Pink Floyd you like then you don't like music, and if you disagree with that then your wrong.PS I was born in 69 too, so that means nowt.
