Not so much an artist as a historian type thing & early archeaologist - spelling is not my strong point!!

William Stukely, did quite a few pen & ink type scratchings of some areas, avebury, stonehenge etc. some have argued the accuracy as he tended to expand a little sometimes in the drawings of what he thought may have been there too, but still worth a look.

Books which featuer it are fairly easy to come by, Megalithomania, The Avebury Landscape etc.

Also, have a peep into some old second hand type book shops, they're full of old views of landscapes etc and can usually specialise in certain areas.
