I got very excited when I heard about this in a previous thread, mostly because I got the month wrong and thought I'd be in the area when I wouldn't be! Would love to do the sunrise Hurlers walk but perhaps I'll get up there early next time I'm in Liskeard. Please report on how it all goes. Even Radio Cornwall are mentioning this event...

Hi IT,
Unfortunately due to my present health problem I won't be attending the event as planned. I had a place on the excavation as well which is a right pain! The excavation begins today but I will wait until the weekend when it is fully exposed before visiting with camera. But...a friend is hoping to attend today to take photos and has offered to send me some along with a report, so fingers crossed!

A video of yesterday’s excavation of the path is now available here.
