The problem with the moon and alignments Roy is that it behaves in an entirely different way to the sun i.e. it is not in the same place on a weekly , monthly or annual basis so alignmnets only tend to work on the standstills which take place every 18.6 years . However the full moon associated with a solar event like an equinox has been considered as potential for alignment , it tends to be red and often eclipses .
