Do we really have to have the same endless, boring, dead-end argument about the climbing of ancient hills on this forum?

I'm beginning to feel this place is like a hellish coffee morning for the perpetually dissatisfied or the unimaginatively disgruntled.

So being against climbing Silbury when requested not to is unimaginative?
No, but the repetitive nature of these threads on this forum is very unimaginative. I'm just not keen on seeing another round of 'yes, we all know who thinks what', spread over 2 million pages. A lot of it is just pointless drivel.

Well, as I said above, the simple solution is not to read it. It might be worth remembering though that there are new readers and contributors coming here all the time and the issue may be one they have not considered before.

So let them carry on and don't complain about it, that's what that amounts to. On TMA of all places!
