When T and I first got involved with this site about 7 years back, there were a lot of great contributors - Moth, Jane, Tom Four Winds, The Eternal, Tombo, Paulo, PeteG, etc. - who now seem to be gone (Treaclechops RIP). Not that there aren't some equally good contributors now :) - but even people like Rhiannon seem less visible

I love the sites section and usually check back with the forum every six months but can only last a week or two because of all the squabbling and rude behaviour. Honestly some people! I think late night booze probably has a lot to do with it - and maybe not getting out enough. I don't know but I assume that many of the contributors mentioned above aren't around for a similar reason. I know it's best to ignore it but somehow you get dragged into reading it and then feel rather jaded!

The TMA Eds seem as ever to do a very good job - voluntarily and mainly unappreciated as far as I can see - as does owner JC and programmer Holy McGrail.

So I am off again - not in a huff or as a statement as I don't post enough for that and I will probably check in six months for another round. But just to add my voice to the pleas to:

- keep on topic
- don't do massive quotes in your replies
- don't take things too personally
- appreciate what is here. It's amazing
- but mainly, stop being RUDE -
