"I learn only to be contented."
It could be, though in the (Zen) Buddhist context it probably means, “I learn only to be contented.” A bit of ambiguity is fun though. The following found on some old sundials in the West -"That could be interpreted in two different ways couldn't it? i.e. "I'm learning/studying just because it makes me content." Or "The only thing I'm learning is how to be content."
Horas non numero nisi serenas. “I do not count the hours unless they are bright.” :-)
