Sanctuary, you and one or two others have persuaded me that I must get my own copy of The Old Straight Track, it was loaned to me by someone a couple of years back but I didn't get a chance to read it properly before I returned it.

Cheap on ebay June. I have Watkins' earlier Early British Trackways and now his Ley Hunters Manual which I'll be happy to loan you at some time.
