I saw bears less than 1 feet away. Albeit I was in a car some 30 miles south of Watson Lake on my way to Alaska. Beautiful creatures! When they stand up, that is a scary sight. But wild in Scotland I don't think so...........................I'd like them, but the twats would shoot them, same for the wolves (saw wild wolves at Denali). There time here has gone BUT we should protect the environment(s) in which they still survive.
