Another recommendation for the Moulin Hotel from me - great atmosphere, good food, and their own brewery!

In Fort William I've stayed in the Imperial Hotel (Best Western, inoffensive, great views over Loch Linnhe), Bank Street Lodge (very central hostel, popular with walkers, not a great atmosphere though, wouldn't stay there again) and Farr Cottage Activity Centre (a hostel with a very laid-back atmosphere, just outside Fort William in the suburb of Corpach).

Thanks for these, I dont want top repeat the incident at a Fort William B&B where the guy said "I mean it, breakfast is at 800am, then ran a bell up and down the halls and refused us our meal cos we were thdre at 815am.

Oh - and by the way - Here's another recommendation of the Moulin! Fantastic place. Very cosy. The perfect end to a hard day's stone-hunting!

Good, solid, wholesome food (excellent puddings!) and it has it's own brewery attached! Was also the place I got my taste for single malts...

Would definitely stay there a 3rd time. And a 4th. And so on. ;)
