If you go to Capel Garmon, and have the time the Fairy glen isnt too far away and is one of the most gorgeous places in Snowdonia.
If your driving from Llandudno to Ysbyty Cynfyn will you go through the mountains which is a good drive, or even better go through Caernarfon and then Harlech, youll be driving past tre'r Cieri "the city of the giants"
Dyffryn Ardudwy two really good dolmens or for a longer walk Bryn Cader Faner.
There is lots of stones both single and in rows near Cader Idris, the big mountain near Barmouth.
Bryn Celli Ddu is the best place in Anglesey, but I also have a soft spot for
Meini Hirion.

Thanks guys. Will take all your suggestions on board, let you know how I get on.

By the way, thanks for helping me out on my camping thread. The campsite at Birchover is SUPERB! Withing easy walking of Stanton Moor, and on my second visit I found the rock art behind the Druid Inn. What a groovy place to stay!

Love on 'ya!
