It doesn't look deep or wide enough to have been made with stone tools. Looks more like something that's grown on the rock and left a mark behind.

It's more your neck of the woods than mine KK, I'm not so confident outside my own stomping patch. Are there many cup-less motifs down Yorkshire way?
