I don't think the stones themselves - or even the work involved - would be the biggest cost.

Can I suggest an enormously expensive consultation regarding the construction and location of a garishly uninviting visitor centre and burger bar? Preferrably in the shape of a sore thumb so as to not blend in with it's surroundings too much?

Ah, now you're talking sense Mr Goff.

And if you build it you'll have to become it's guardian so you'll have to push for the new visitor centre to be built as close as possible to it. Ditto a new road, whatever everyone else says.
