Malvern and Crickley Hill would be do-able.
Or, if you haven't been there, forget the megalithic stuff and go to the Ironbridge Gorge museums, they're pretty amazing.
I went to school with Ironbridge George! They are great places to go. Are they open in winter?
I'd think about popping up British Camp or go for a walk over Kinver Edge myself. The latter would definitely involve the caves at Nanny's Rock. Or there's Wenlock Edge. Or there's the Brecon Beacons. Or there's Clent. Bugger. Suddenly I'm a little homesick! Glastonbury is an slightly further option.
I think I'd probably settle for a day in Hay-On-Wye and blow my Xmas budget on smelly old books. Probably a good idea I'm not back in Dudley any more!
