you don't want to get us started on what we left out! I still haven't got over the Crannogs (cue for post from Mike saying "pull yourself together Soskin).

You see, I had this vision of rolling mists over Loch Awe... close up of oar cutting through swirling mist and water... me rowing out to a crannog and rabbiting about thousands of years of people living on the loch bla bla.

Basically Britain was underwater at the time and despite exploring every inch of the perimeter of the loch, the best sight of any crannog was a lone twig sticking out of the water... gutted!

and then there's....... no, stop
