Thanks Ken, though I'm not sure I'm any clearer :-(

I'm trying to work out 'psychography':
>'psyche' - of the mind or spirit, especially with regard to the deep feelings and attitudes that account for someone's opinions and behaviour
>'graphy' - 1 a method of recording or representing something in graphic form (• calligraphy • photography • lithography), 2 a descriptive science or art (• biography • geography • choreography).

Any advance on what Ken says, anyone?

Perhaps this book is not for me...

spirit writing or 'automatic writing' if you google ;) fits in with 'graph' anyway

Ah ha! Yes, I know about this. A surrealist artist in the early 20th century - Andre Breton I think - experimented with 'automatic writing'. Basically he got wasted and got a pen and paper to see what would happen.
