I was there late yesterday had originally intended to leave home earlier and alone. Both of my kids got wind of my plans and delayed my departure. As they insisted on coming at the same time doing everything possible to avoid leaving the house!

Having never met any of you I thought I might bump into one of you wearing a mega-meet T-shirt. Whilst wondering around.

Still not to worry. It has been 7 or 8 years since I last visited Avebury and the last place I wanted to go was the Red Lion.

As far as the weather goes if I had taken a jacket or a sweatshirt it would have been fine.

Still, I got to over hear Julian Richards say "Shit" to his tour group when he realised he was an hour out, they were meant to be having a lunch break. Was slightly amusing.
