Any word on the nerd who wanted to dress up a menhir on Bodmin Moor ? FW was supposed to be mailing him to express MA's dissaproval of his little gardening project....

I see they've changed the name from 'Stoned 2002' to 'Stone 2002', apart from that it appears it's business as usual.

I mailed the tit but surprise surprise ... no response.

Had a great weekend here in Cornwall.
Saturday was very misty but on Sunday the spring finally sprung!

Amongst other sites I visited I thought fellow heads would like to see pics and some fieldnotes added for the Ryedown stone at Delford Bridge up on Bodmin Moor.

Now I've seen the stone, I get the impression that is was not a single menhir but maybe a fallen quoit stone.

This is the stone that is planned for some crazy altarations for the Summer solstice.
