I hear there's a plague of keyboard eating locusts sweeping northwards. It's not got as far as Northumberland yet so I can still type, and will presumably take ages to get as far as your neck of the woods so you should be OK for a while yet.

Fortunately the keyboard replacing pixies are following sharp on the heels of the locusts, so I'm sure things will be back to normal at some point soon ;)
