That is useful, it seems that black horses were a pre Hanoverian thang and when George I -IV took up residence White horses came into fashion for names and inns.

Bit late in history for my interests!
Could this be another one of those subconscious things that just happen ?
Could both horses not have represented different ideas and concepts in the same way the sun and moon did?
