Nothing springs to mind, unless you consider White Horse Lane & Road and Black Horse Lane all in Thornton Heath/South Norwood.

That is useful, it seems that black horses were a pre Hanoverian thang and when George I -IV took up residence White horses came into fashion for names and inns.

That's the theory anway - less anyone knows anything else?
