It was one of the clearest eclipse views i have seen, it was a pity i didn't have a bigger lens, my 300mm got me as close as it could though..

I must say the lack of photos elsewhere is more than compensated by the heroic efforts from those who wield a mean lens on TMA. Ken as usual blew me away [even my daughter loves shadowsandstone now], but those glowing red shots are just as spectacular as any solar eclipse.

Did anyone notice how bright the moon was prior to the eclipse? Is that natural [moon reflecting light at almost perfect angle] or was it just me and the others who commented on it?
