Surely the 90% lurking are always changing. And that's because they're not that interested in the subject matter, not interested enough to contribute. So that's fair enough, why would you expect anything else? Why would you want to get every passing surfer to say something?

I would say that 75% of the 90% that lurk are probably static. Gobshites like me probably put them off venturing in.
