Full moon ceremony on Saturday at 8pm, Tara Hill, if anyone's interested.
But the full moon is Friday.
A friend of mine told me that a lot of Wiccan ceremonies are celebrated, not at the time of the celestial event they mark, but at the nearest weekend. The logic was that it made sense not to use annual leave. That struck me as a bit weird. Maybe this is the same thing?
And it's not Tara Hill, in Wexford, but the Hill of Tara, in Meath. ;-)
Cathaholics can now get their weekly mass on a Saturday due to a special dispensation. Maybe it's a ceremony based AROUND the full moon. I'm headin there so will report back if anybody's interested.
