And when TMA leaps out of Britain with a single bound we will focus on places us folks have actually been rather than letting asking people to add sites willly-nilly just for the sake of completeness
Why should we restrict ourselves to sites actually visited?
Many of us are trying to move beyond regionalism in an attempt to grasp a bigger picture of what was going on in the world. A classic example would be Rhiannon's wonderful researching. TMA would be a much poorer place without her postings.

TMA goes from strength to strength using the current format, it is an excellent system where knowlege and research is shared for the benefit of all. Why change it?

I think the current thinking is that areas will be introduced slowly, rather than adding the whole of Europe in one BIG BANG*.

*NB - I think ....

I'm not saying to restrict to sites visited. Heck, have taken pictures of sites in the distance myself (partly a reminder to go back). [Would love to add all the stuff found in old Orkney newspapers, especially where this hasn't made it to being a NMRS, however it would be intellectual dishonesty to do this wholesale quoting chunks so I only add the occasional tidbit in my own phrasing]. If we go and add everything we've come across then Europe and elsewhere we would simply be a gazeteer, our own pics and fieldnotes should be the main contribution like here.
