Thames Water's record on leakage is appalling. I think they should fix this before flooding further swathes of my county. But I'll wager they won't :-(

They've really lost the plot (I suspected as much when I heard they'd put the company up for sale). It's cut and run time for them. This whole new reservoir thing's a complete and utter smokescreen. Thames Water, fix your frigging pipes and then let's see if a new reservoir is needed!

The Independent report also states that ThamesWater has been put up for sale by its German owner RWE, now I don't want to say why are utility companies put on the open market for the stock market to play around with .. so I shan't because it gets me too mad. But it will be the "largest fully embanked" reservoir in the UK, so how will that blend in with the landscape I wonder?
