Warning, curmudgeon coming through :-)

Unless I've got it wrong this monstrosity will be sited in The Vale of White Horse* God knows what the environmental impact is going to be if it materialises but are there any archaeological sites we should be worried about? Surely it isn't going to be visible from Uffington!

Its been noted on HA, but the Oxford map link has disappeared... Its on Farmoor, between Marcham, Hanney and Steventon; Article in the Independent says Thames Water are planning to build a giant £1 billion reservoir covering 10 square kilometres - the reservoir will supply an additional 350 millions litres a day. However.....they lose 900 millions litres a day in London through leaky pipes.. Don't know if any stones will disappear though.
