Carnbane west is the best idea I've heard yet, and with the equinox sunrise of carnbane east is even more attractive. I'm defo up for that.

I'm up for that, especially if we head for Patricksown Hill to see the carvings there :-) We could also try to visit the stone circle in the valley below ....
