And, MDers are generally in it for personal / financial gain, which no-one could EVER say geocachers are guilty of, considering the quarry.

Having hung about their websites for a while (though not as much as you!) they mostly seemed harmless, if boring. I reckon their big problem is getting individuals to keep to the rules. Maybe you could unilaterally make a rule for them, like "No closer than x yards" and leave them a note to that effect. Bet the message would get back pretty smartish to GeoHQ.

BTW, I expect you know, non-geocachers are known as Muggles.
