I've also got a lovely hardback copy of Michael Dames's 'Silbury book. If you don't mind the fluffy content.
Fluffy? Personally I'd describe Dames' writings and ideas as innovative, interesting and thought-provoking but, in my humble opinion, never 'fluffy'. He's also a very nice person to talk to :-) What exactly do you mean by 'fluffy' here?

ooh one little word.. what I meant was 'alternative'? as opposed to some dry old collection of facts and figures as put forward by The Establishment. But fluffy was quicker. I own the book, for goodness' sake. And surely I am tma's queen of fluff?! so it wasn't meant in a bad way. I'm all for Independent Thought, god knows. It's also nice to base things on more than wishful thinking sometimes though innit.

I can't find a page of that book Without Fluffyness everywhere.
I could write a whole book on the mistakes and vapid new aged whitterings contained in it.
Last time I met him he told me to consider the book as a jumble of notes, which I now do.
Good photo source tho!
