I don't remember the alignments at Carnac being particularly related to the sea. At least, it wasn't obvious: they're fairly well inland, and would have been more so when built. There are monuments that are next to, and even in, the little Gulf, but when those were built the Gulf was a river valley. Or, it was just beginning to be drowned.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the "sea view" reference? If so, apologies!
