Never mind laughing, stop the little sods. Last weekend they will have hoiked 7,000 archaeological objects out of our fields and into buckets in garden sheds and reported a miserable few hundred of them to PAS - and have dubbed themselves "community archaeologists" on the strength of it.

They'd do it again this coming weekend and so on until the vast number of fields they say are now "worked out" become all of them. How outrageous is that?
