That's a good point; there must be lots of places where the June full moon will look beautiful (the Vale of Pewsey springs to mind), and was it on TMA where I read recently that Glastonbury Tor would also offer something a bit special?

I wasn't thinking so much of fullness, as the actual position of setting. That'll be exceptionally far south won't it?

BTW, I read that the earth's axis has tilted so maybe in order to get an accurate view of what the ancients saw (about half a moon's disk different?) a stepladder would be good, or maybe a Goffik to climb on, but don't tell the Callanish crowd.
