Chuckle... damned if I can decide whether to go or not Nigel.

Sitting in the garden just now, with the promise of a nice weekend coming up, the thought of that drive to Lewis is a bit daunting. I'd offer to give one or two of you nutters a lift, just for the company, but you might turn out to be megalith-wielding psychopaths (or something even worse ;-)

Oh well, 'fraid procrastination always was one of the family's weaker points :-(

Go for it, LS!

You know you want to ;-)

damned if I can decide whether to go or not

Well if you don't, perhaps you can put your mind to likely spots where those of us who can't face the journey could go to see if the moonset down here is significant. I don't understand the technicalities but presumably if you stand at one ancient site and the moon sets behind another on the relevant day, that would be potentially significant?

Give yourself some more procrastination time LS, then come up for the July light show :-)
