Goffik,
Interesting links, ta. Having an interest in Scottish mountains, they help somewhat with trying to get me gob around the correct pronunciation. It must be one of the most complex languages in the world. A book I've got on the Munros (mountains over 3,000 feet high in Scotland) even informs me that "Ben Nevis" is pronounced "Byn Neevish". Well, bugger me, I thought, until a local corrected my mispronunciation of the Torridon mountain Liathac - "Oh, you mean Liatch". Talk about mixing up the letters.
Cheers,
TE.
