The nearest thing on ArchSearch is a boundary bank at SP 8293 0515, so my guess would be a natural hill landscaped to be a boundary marker, but without excavation there is little hope of assigning a period to this work.

Looked on Old Maps. There is a Chequers Court in the area but the feature is called Piccadilly Hill. Banks marked but no mention of a tumulus or 'owt. Strrrike !
