I knew it went back a long way but I didn't realise it was that far. I heard 45000 years. I haven't been there since July 1999 and am looking to see how much it has changed. I went there first in 1994 and it had changed a lot since my first visit. They get a lot of strong winds and dust storms there, although not much rain. I have a relation who farms, wheat, in the nearby Arumpo area and they never get enough rain there.
