Stone corrals

>The Neolithic seems such a weird place. I can understand the Palaeolithic so much better, but henges, circles, standing stones and above all - cursus...<

Yep, gonna get obsessive about this if I'm not careful but they all seem to make a bit more sense when you think 'practical'. I know we've discussed this before but why shouldn't a cursus have just been a semi-protected avenue for livestock from A to B? I do get a bit pi*sed off with all this 'ritual' stuff. The Chelmer (Springfield) Cursus (and I'm sitting at the top end of where it used to be :-) runs straight down towards the river. It's simple - there's no need for fancy tornado theories, etc etc - it's just a friggin' semi-protected avenue down to the river.

Yes, that may be true for the Chelmer cursus, but what about some of the others that seem to go nowhere. They do seem to be linked to long barrows and henges so I suppose you would suggest that the henge was the corral and the cursus the drove road. I dunno.

"semi-protected avenue down to the river" which makes the Neolithic road from Durrington Walls differ only by being for human cattle ;-)

"Practical", now Your talking, surely they would have had the stones inside, in a wooden building, then a corral a distance away to keep livestock safe.
But, and its the bit you dont like, the stones are made from special stone, which has electrically based properties, they are arranged in series, but you dont want me to mention alignments, but they are, especially with outlying stones, have you discussed the pratical implications of sound transmission ? early morse.
I am very sure that, what a dowser picks up is a form of radio wave, or more correctly a band of radio waves, if these radiate the globe in alignments from the lunar body that emitts them, then naturally if they used the sites in conjunction with these waves, then they will also align with the lunar bodies.
This is I feel certain is where all the confusion starts .
"practical" is the best word I have seen on this site in weeks.
I have been researching the word "troll" and where it origonates, I can see why you would consider me one, but, I am not , exhibit certain chararistics, yes,( probably didnt spell that reet) just genuinely interested in this, and align totally with the energy theory, to explain the sites usage.
