Glutton for punishment are ya? Can of worms opening up! http://www.whale.to/b/belinus_line.html The so-called Belinus line is supposed to pass through St Catherines Hill here in Winchester.
Is this the reason I get giddy spells when I pass it or is it much more to do with the pub at its base?

Nah, it's the bloody noisy M3 charging past it! Or, as eco warriors probably prefer, the wailing of the distressed earth forces displaced by the vast cutting.

I prefer the latter, often contribute to the noise on the M3
