The Mysteriography!

There's a copy loitering on my shelf. It sits next to an old map of County Durham, which has an old way of depicting contours making part of Durham look like a great dark horse spread over the landscape, just like the one GRP couldn't quite find.

Yes! The Mysteriography! Splendid word :-D

I went to try and get some more pics of the horse at the weekend, but Philips' dreaded mists thwarted me! I did manage to (just) get some in 2003 though... I spoke to an old guy in Sedbergh last year who told me a few interesting things about the Black Horse of Busha(w).
Maybe I'll go resurrect that old thread... if I can find it...
