A more streamlined method of searching the forums is on the way - the prevous one was getting very slow with the size of the database ...

May I also ask if there is a way to "track" posts? I'd like to be able to make a list, or see on a list, which posts I've read have new replies. I'm a member of a bulletin board run on Caucus software that does that, and am consequently a spoiled brat. Thank you!

Try typing this into Google:

inurl:www.themodernantiquarian.com/forum twaddle

That'd work if you were searching for the word "twaddle" - simply substitute that for the word you're searching for.

Jeez. I chose the word "twaddle" as a random word, but when I tried that very search, up popped the very first thread I ever posted to on TMA! Blimey! Who'd-a thought I'd be on a thread marked "Borrocks and Twaddle"?! ;o)
