I parked up in the lane by Lettergorman South and went trudging over to the stones. A few minutes later a milk tanker came down the lane, so I had to move. Got back to the car ... no keys ... car locked ... mobile inside!

Tanker driver had to reverse out of lane. He was very good about it and said he'd come back later. Eventually I found my keys in the field. Very lucky. Very embarassing.

I managed to lock my keys in the boot. I'd just laid them down for a moment while I put my walking boots on, then I slammed the lid shut before I realised I hadn't picked the keys up. I'd already locked the rest of the car, so I couldn't even gain acces via the back seat.

I had to borrow a screwdriver from another guy in the carpark and hammer it into the lock barrel to open it. It cost me about £50 to get a new lock fitted. :o(

The sooner cars use biometrics instead of keys the better. Quite difficult (though not impossible) to lose a fingerprint. ;o)
