Yep, great ceremony - very light hearted - sort of like a Mummer's play in many ways. Oliver's poetry was pretty moving too - in fact as we rolled up (and then rolled back to the river to get the water for the ritual) I was wondering if there would be any police presence. Some random snaps are here: http://www.larkfall.co.uk/tboro.htm - the green piper was ace! Plenty of nice people, real friendly vibe - noticed a few faces from the Northern Earth moot last year too. Shame I was unable to get up to Druid's Folly for the knees up - but leaving early gave me the rest of the day to reflect... I think I took back something very valuable...

See you at the free fest!

I was wondering if there would be any police presence.
Only one, who had a look around the car park after the ritual and was talking to the ladies with the petitions for a few minutes.

Great pics, they capture the atmos well.

One's mine !

I didn't know it was on.

On the way home, heading east after a look around the area, I meandered and went a different route. Because of that, I saw the White Horse of Kilburn unexpectedly in the distance..... thought that was a kinda nice end to the day.

See you at the free festival
Hope so :-)
