Well I always though Julian was a bit you know... mad and it sorta fitted in well. I saw his one man show at the Edinburgh Fringe many years back when he appeared in a sort of jesters outfit and a wireless guitar and did a shit hot set from Skelington and old Teardrop stuff. I know at least one academic at Edinburgh University who was very impressed with the books and the research.
