Being more spiritual than archeological this is an interesting subject to find here, so I thought i'd put me two pennies in!
It is interesting to watch people dowse at Avenury as the majority of people who dowse do end up following certain things - nope not the ley lines, the sewage pipe for the houses!!!, every now & then you get someone who knows where to start on the ley lines and most people follow the same routes there, :):):)
