Tried it at Stanton Drew with Agent Orange. Had a coat hanger in a bic biro casing. That worked. But haven't tried it with a pendulum thing... Almost anything is possible if you believe it will happen!
;o)

Oh and my married surname is 'Dowsett' so I think in times gone past Steve's family were probably Dowsers!!!

< Almost anything is possible if you believe it will happen! >

I used to think that, but find natural dowsers or dowsing has very little to do with belief. Mind you, ardent disbelief prevents finds - but this has less to do with belief than subtle states of consciousness.

I grew up with Lethbridge & the other dood, Tom Graves who, despite a few ideas which have since faded into his unconscious, writes most eloquently & with a lotta sense about the subject. In my opinion, gerrold of almost owt you can get by the bloke. I like his scepticism & Zen parables.

I think we've gotta be a it careful just throwing the old "energies" word around though. After all, just about everything in the known universe comprises of energy. The good old electromagnetic spectrum is a huge mass of 'em forra start - & the idea of dowsing "ley energies" is extremely debatable. (The old masters Lethbridge & Underwood never came across 'em & they dowsed just about eveyrthing else at archaeological sites all over the Britih Isles) Like everything else in life, if y' gonna start dowsing (as with running, writing, football or whatever) it takes years of practice before yer any good. If anyone wants to think dowsing's any different, think again!

I'd say that good starter books are "Elements of Pendulum Dowsing," "Dowsing: One Man's Way," & "Dowsing & Archaeology" each by Tom Graves; "Pattern of the Past" by Guy Underwood; "Physics of the Divining Rod" by Maby & Franklin.
