European Photos

close

As the MA site isn't gonna be getting Europe for a while I guess, is there anywhere I can stick up some of the 200 odd photos I've taken in France and Brittany this summer.
Alternatively is there anyway one can incorporate said photos into weblogs or something. I'm home in a couple of months and will have the facility to do this so I can share some amazing stuff I've found but I don't know where to put it...

Hi S'Mark
Yeah I had this problem when i went to see the hunebedden, and the way round it I found was to host the images on my own website and point the links in my weblogs to the pics on my website. Then i realised that with a simple html tag <img src="http://www.nameofyourFrenchpiccyhere.jpg" />
(dunno, if you know anything about html, I certainly don't, i only speak 'schoolgirl' html) you can get the images to appear in your weblogs.

One way of doing it, might be to use one of those online photoalbums (something like yahoo perhaps?http://uk.photos.yahoo.com/) to upload your lovely French images to, then using the image source html tag to point the browser to those, et, voila! they appear as if by magic in your weblog....

Does any of that make any sense at all?

This online gallery dos'nt seem to bad:

Might no be any popups :-)

I might put my Roman Picture here ;-)

I could host them for you, I've had this hostname of www.ancienteurope.info which I've not done anything with, perhaps we could work something out?

I guess this is not going to be taken the right way as usual but the Meg P eGallery covers Europe
eg France
http://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=My_eGallery&file=index&do=showgall&gid=211

I can also load photos in blocks if need be so you don't need to post them one by one online. This is how I did the French gallery from JJ. You could send me a CD-ROM with them all on, suitably named and sorted into folders.

Better the devil you know than some commercial operator? :-) I won't mess with your copyright I promise.

Cheers,
Andy
