"why would an atheist give a shite about any reference to God? Speaking of fourwinds actually."

Why would I give a shite? because TomBo made a statement that is fundamentally incorrect. The fall of man is very clearly defined in the Bible. I simply used a *real* example to state my case rather than getting into a debate using quotes etc. The fact that it is depicted in stone in the 10th century means more than a philosophical debate upon the actual words.

I always give a shit when someone states or restates something blatantly incorrect.

I don't give a toss upon the meaing of the Fall of Man or any other part of the Bible. The Old Testament is rehashed ancient Myth and St Paul was a woman hating wanker, which leads us to George Dubya and his cronies. I rest on my case, cause I'm tired :-)

Youre talking bollocks here FW.

You have a point but just 'cause some one wrote something in stone in the 10th century or whatever doesn't mean it's necessarilly true or accurate.

Adding hundreds of sites to your collection doesn't automatically qualify you for the answers. I am reminded of the story of a teacher who said he had 10 years experience, when in fact he'd repeated 1 year's experience 10 times.

Your comments are about hill forts being places of battles, death, distruction etc is actually based on eveidence of upheavals at that time but ultimately you cannot say if any particular fort had a battle. It's like historians saying in 1000 year's time that in the 1970s there were thousands of ICBMs so there must have been lots of nuclear wars.

As for your comment about using quotes, if you don't like that them don't turn to symapthy emails we haven;t seen to back your argument.
